We will be hosting a roundtable discussion, featuring a panel of Black Disabled individuals who will be addressing the intersection of race and disability when navigating employment today. With the theme of ‘disrupting the narrative’, the aim of this thought-provoking conversation is to acknowledge and respect the experiences of Black Disabled individuals who encounter various challenges in relation to employment. This also endeavours to inspire hope that changing the system is possible to ensure Black Disabled people can secure and thrive in meaningful work, leading to a more equitable and just employment landscape.
